Catherine Cook and her brother, David, initially complained of her school graduation photo on the album. But the complaint came to fruition an idea that millions of dollars.

Catherine then creates a social networking site from a computer in his room. And in six years already has 25 million users across the United States.

Myyearbook.com is one of the 25 most visited sites in the country, and the Catherine firm worth U.S. $ 20 million.

Her success made him a direct comparison with Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.

"Everything happened fast. One minute we get the idea, then we get an investment of U.S. $ 250 thousand. My brother Geoff already enjoying success with other sites and decided to invest in us," said Catherine, 21, as quoted by the Daily Mail.

When discussing the inspiration from the idea, she said: "I remember the days when we were given by the school photo album. That was in 2005 and my brother David and I complained how much we hate our photos. She said, 'What if we could choose our own image? 'and I said 'What if you could interact with other people online? "That's the beginning.

There are various features of the site which makes it more complex than up, at least the ability to choose the leaderboard popularity.

"We have to draw each page by hand. Then we found a team of developers in Mumbai, India. Very interesting, but we are still in high school. I do my school work all day, and then stay awake until 4 am in order to discuss with Indian developers. "

But her struggle was not in vain, Catherine and David finally launched the site from their home in Skillman, New Jersey, April 2005.

"My mother and father both electrical engineers, but we do all the work ourselves. We promote the site at school, wearing T-shirts around campus. Furthermore, the site was started visiting members from schools across the country in November 2005, only a few months after launch.

"When we get one million members, I feel very happy, yet so scared. life is changing in ways that I can’t imagine."

In 2006 the couple that Internet entrepreneurs feel they are too small bedroom and they invested their offices in New Hope, Pennsylvania.

New age of 16 years, Catherine has 12 staff new developers.

"If you remember the past, I only get two hours of sleep a night. It's hard to manage school and work, but soon after I graduated from high school, and when business started to take off I realized even my personal life a mess," she said.

Catherine's relationship with her high school boyfriend had ended. "I knew he was going to another university, and I know that we will not be able to see each other."

"He is very supportive of me, hang out while I sat up all night, working on the site. But I know when I go to Georgetown it would be the end of our relationship."

Catherine is also a victim of jealousy, similar to that felt by Zuckerberg. He explained, "After a successful site in an instant, there is a strange situation with a guy in my Spanish class."

"We're friends but he suddenly stopped talking to me. It turned out that his parents ask him, how Catherine could make social networking as well as schools but you (with no other activity) can’t maintain the value of report cards?"

Someone once said to Catherine even he could never compete with MySpace, in fact he now has a quarter the number of visitors have MySpace and employees 100 people.

When talking about the causes of these sites successful, Catherine says, "Most of my friends really accept the idea that site. They are joined on the site and make suggestions."

"I even met my best friends through the site. He sent a message, I thought you were my neighbors. Since then we became friends."
