Uterus transplantation? It may sound strange to you. However, this method can help you who want to have children but are constrained by issues of fertility.

Is Mats Brannstrom, experts from University of Gothenburg in Sweden, who has spent his time during the 10 years to researching the latest techniques. In the report findings, as reported by the Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Research, Brannstorm revealed that uterine transplants feasible technique applied to women who have fertility problems.

" Uterus transplantation is proved to be a feasible procedure in experimental animal models. This method is expected to help women who suffer permanent infertility. We estimate that the effort will be perfect the first womb transplant within two to three years,"explained Brannstorm.

The technique previously applied to a rabbit in a study conducted by British scientists. While in Saudi Arabia, the same technique has also been tested on a woman. Unfortunately, the artificial uterus is not strong enough and only able to hold the fetus as long as four months.
